To be honest, I’m not judging…
I’m actually a little envious – because I would give anything not to care about how I look or feel.

So, I live my life accordingly.
However, as humans – we tend to complicate things…
I don’t know what it is about our brains – but we love skipping over the simple solution for the harder, more involved and intricate one.
That goes for everything from math to politics…
And yes – that even goes for fitness.

“You need to do HIIT training”…

But where this monster rears its ugly head the most – is whenever somebody starts talking about diet and nutrition.
It’s hard to get through all the noise – especially when it comes to eating and working out.

Nutrition is simple…
But that doesn’t mean it’s easy.
I find the best analogy for nutrition is to imagine your body as a finely tuned machine – and food as the fuel that powers it.
You wouldn’t put low-octane gasoline into a high-performance sports car, would you?
WOULD YOU?!
I should hope not…
And similarly, you shouldn’t neglect the quality of the fuel you put into your body if you want to maximize your fitness potential.
So, here are some SIMPLE steps for you to follow in order to get your nutrition on point… or fleek – or whatever the kids are calling it these days.
1. Fuel Your Workouts:
Your body requires energy to perform at its best during workouts.
Without the right fuel – you’ll find it challenging to push yourself…
This often leads to subpar results.
I can’t stress enough how crucial it is to provide your body with the right nutrients before and AFTER exercise.
2. Prioritize Nutrition For Muscle Growth and Recovery:
Proteins are the building blocks of muscles…
Without an adequate intake of protein – your body will struggle to repair and build muscle tissue – making your fitness progress slower and less noticeable.
Incorporate lean sources of protein like chicken, fish, beans, and protein powders into your diet to support muscle growth and recovery.
3. Maintain a Balanced Diet:
A well-rounded diet that includes a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins is ESSENTIAL for overall health.
